Just off the plane from Japan and I can honestly say I’ve never seen so many incredible ‘looks’. Fashion in Japan is bigger than Godzilla. I’m going to miss it. Lucky, then, that The Barbican in London is doing an exhibition of 30 years of avant-garde Japanese fashion running from 15 October to 6 February. Now where’s my transparent PVC kimono…?
